Chelsie earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry at Florida International University. After, she partook in a Post-baccalaureate program (PREP) at Michigan State University (MSU) where she took graduate courses and joined her research laboratory. After the PREP program, she went straight into the Biomedical Engineering program, where she received her Masters and she is now studying for her Ph.D. in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering.
